Ruby - a gem of programming faster

ROR, Ruby on Rail, grew out of experiences of developing web application. Instead of complex and heavy ways of doing things, ROR exploits practices often used in developing database-driven web sites.

Plus, it comes with goodies for AJAX, Asynchronous Javascript framework for Web 2.0. It translates to easy and richer user experiences. Often we hear "love it" when people see one of these AJAX sites.

Technology is the ultimate commodity. It comes and goes. We have been utilizing ROR in some of our works to simplify user experiences integrating different systems built in different programming languages.

So far, ROR works nicely as "GLUEWARE", helping us deliver tangible user experiences like wow.

We are also looking at opportunities to apply these techniques in content publishing integration.
