Outlook Annoyance
Outlook is still geared for poping emails. When you set up your fancy IMAP, it is annoying to find Outlook open your old POP inbox. What next?
Answer is pretty straightforward.
Set up so you start up in a certain folder; preferably in your new spanking IMAP Inbox.
To configure Outlook so that it ALWAYS opens to your Inbox, follow these steps:
Select Tools > Options. The Options dialog box appears.
Select the Other tab.
Click Advanced Options...
In the Startup in this folder section, click Browse...
The Select Folder dialog box appears. Click your "my favorite IMAP account" folder to expand it, then select the
Inbox that appears under it.
Click OK three times to close the dialog boxes.
